Reimagine High School With Us!

Since founding the program in 2016, TandemEDU students have held over 1,200 seats in college classes. This makes us your Georgia dual enrollment expert!

Our Purpose

Parents are the best teachers for their teens so we work in tandem with families to develop their teens spiritually, academically and socially. Our progressive dual education approach takes the burden of high school at home off parents while offering students the unique opportunity to graduate with a high school diploma, college credit, even a college degree. Our Approach

Early college courses are often a duplication of high school classes. In Georgia, college courses can count as high school classes under the new Move on When Ready dual enrollment program.

Combining Georgia high school guidelines and college degree requirements, we’ve created a unique Tandem education offering:

  • A high school diploma
  • An Associate of Arts degree from Toccoa Falls College
  • An average of 3 classes per quarter
  • Teachers and tutors for high school classes
  • Facilitators and tutors for college courses

TandemEDU Accreditation

Our students now graduate with an accredited high school diploma entitling them to receive the HOPE Scholarship.

College Partner

Our higher education partner has been glorifying God and developing Christian servant leaders in north Georgia since 1907. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, TFC courses are transferable in Georgia and nationwide.

“It is no coincidence that these students are consistently successful on the college level as TandemEDU relevantly prepares its students for college courses.” Read More

Our Model

TandemEDU students classes meet at a venue organized by the local alliance host. Classes are typically held in the morning with each class period running 70 minutes. High school classes are taught by qualified instructors who, after teaching, assign homework for the student to complete over the next week. High school curriculum is carefully selected to include a companion DVD so students can review daily lessons when completing homework assignments.

College courses are taken online through Toccoa Falls College. Students meet weekly in the classroom setting with a facilitator to discuss upcoming assignments and to review relevant lectures, readings, etc. The facilitator may also tutor individual students who request additional assistance outside of the regular class meeting time. All facilitators have a college degree as well as teaching experience and professional experience in the subject they teach.
